Assuming this account to be factual, a heart catheterization usually isn’t an “open” procedure- unless they find something horrible and have to operate stat.
For heart catheterization, they will go througha femoral blood vessel in the thigh/ groin area and feed the exploring tiny cath, and so on, thru to the heart to put in special dye to get a better picture of the heart .
If it did happen, a thirteen year old suddenly having her thigh/ pubic area shaved by a pair of nurses could totally be a deal breaker.

Just now going back and listening to your earlier podcasts and felt it necessary to state that shingles can happen at anytime. I’ve had two cases, both in my early 30s. The reason shingles are normally thought of to be an old person’s inflection, is because when they get it they get really bad cases because there immune system is very very compromised. And the age for the shingles shot, is now 50 or older because I just got mine a year ago when I was 51. They are awful and I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.
